Pengaruh Edukasi Gizi Terhadap Pengetahuan Gizi Seimbang Pada Anak Sekolah

Nutritional problems can affect all age groups. One of them is the age of school children or teenagers. Adolescents (10 until 19 years) are usually very vulnerable to nutritional problems, because they experience hormonal changes and the effects of physical changes. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of nutrition education on knowledge of balanced nutrition in students. The research design used was a quasi-experimental one group pre-test and post-test with a cross sectional approach. The research was conducted in January 2020. The sampling technique was total sampling. The population and sample in this study were 6th grade students. The number of samples was 35 students. Data analysis was carried out by statistical tests. The statistical test used is the Wilcoxon test. The results showed that the p value of 0.000 (p < 0.05) means that there is an influence between nutrition education on knowledge of balanced nutrition in students. After education, there was an increase of 48% of respondents who had good knowledge. The conclusion is that nutrition education has an effect on knowledge of balanced nutrition in students.
