Abstract

The purpose of this study is to study the relationship between language and art in events “Bulan Bahasa dan Seni” at MA El Bayan Majenang. Related to the theme, the author hopes this research will provide the information about the relationship between language and art from this event. Based on the result of this research it can be concluded that: Language is a communication system consisting of a set of sounds and written symbols used by people in a country or region to speak or write. Art is a result of human work that communicates spiritual experience that presented beautifully and attractively, so it can provide a spiritual experience for human who enjoy it. Language and art is an inseparable unit, because in cultural science, especially anthropology in society there are 7 elements of culture.
