Abstract

Career maturity is the individual's success in completing and overcoming typical career development tasks at each stage of career development. In adolescents, especially at the vocational level, it is necessary to measure student career maturity. So the purpose of this study was to validate the Student Career Maturity Instrument. This is considering that the instrument has an important role in the research process so that the validity and reliability of the instrument is very necessary to pay attention to. The subjects in this study found 148 students. The findings show that from the results of the validity and reliability tests, it was found that the validity of this instrument contained 23 invalid questionnaire items and 34 valid questionnaire items. However, of the 34 valid items, 30 items were used because there were 4 items whose Corrected Item-Total Correlation results were only low. Meanwhile, 30 valid items have a high reliability value with a value of 0.948.
