Gambaran Pengetahuan, Sikap dan Perilaku Ibu Ibu Rumah Tangga Terhadap Pencegahan HIV/AIDS

Abstract

Housewives (IRT) are at risk of contracting HIV. Infections among housewives from 2003 – 2013 tended to increase. This infection was caused by the husband having HIV and having unprotected sex with his wife and felt that he should not have sex with anyone other than his wife. The aim of this research is to determine the description of knowledge, attitudes and behavior of housewives regarding HIV/AIDS prevention in RW V, Donan Village, Cilacap. This type of research is quantitative descriptive, using 37 respondents. The results of the univariate analysis, the majority of mothers were in the reproductive age range, 22 respondents (59.4%), the majority had a high school education level, 18 respondents (53.4%), and did not work, 20 respondents (54.1), the majority had knowledge about HIV prevention in the sufficient category was 22 people (59.5%), the majority had a positive attitude about HIV prevention as many as 23 people (62.1%), and the majority had non-deviant behavior regarding HIV prevention as many as 28 people (75.7% ). It is hoped that there will be further research related to the analysis of factors that influence HIV/AIDS risk behavior among housewives and health service settings are expected to carry out HIV screening, especially housewives who are at risk.
