Energy is a basic need that comes from coal which will run out and have an impact on air pollution. A replacement raw material source is needed in the form of rice husk biomass to be used as biobriquettes. Making biobriquettes begins with the carbonization process of rice husk waste biomass carried out at a temperature of 300oC for 1 hour. Next, a grinding or smoothing process is carried out to obtain sizes of 100 and 150 mesh. The adhesive used is an adhesive made from tapioca flour with five concentration variations, namely 6, 8, 10, 12, and 14% (w/w). The biobriquette analysis carried out was the analysis of calorific value, water content and ash content which were analyzed and compared with SNI 4931:2010. The results obtained are that the smaller the powder size, the greater the calorific value obtained. The highest calorific value of biobriquettes was obtained in the 150 mesh size variation with tapioca flour adhesive of 10%.
