Abstract

Occupational health and safety (OHS) is an important program, especially in the industrial world, to protect employees from danger so that companies can create a safe and healthy work environment to achieve optimal work productivity. PT Garam unit Camplong is a company that processes fine iodized salt and uses many employees in its production process. So, it is necessary to identify and analyze the risks of potential hazards to work activities. This research aims to determine the potential and level of risk of danger in the production area. The research method used is the HIRARC method, where this method can show the level of potential risk of danger and can determine its control. The research results show several potential dangers in work activities in production areas: very low, low, medium, high, and very high. Therefore, it is necessary to take control measures in the form of prevention to minimize the risk of work accidents when carrying out work activities.
