Potensi Penggunaan Kecerdasan Buatan pada Pengobatan Tradisional

Abstract

Artificial intelligence (AI) has been developed recently. It can be used in many fields such as finance, learning, information technology systems, medicine, etc. However, less is known about the possible role of AI in traditional medical practice. This paper aims to describe the possible role of AI in traditional medical practice. Method: This is a narrative literature review. The journals were searched in PubMed, Science Direct, and Google Scholar which were published within the last 5 years. The possible roles of AI in traditional medical practice are in analyzing medical records, clinical decision-making, and designing treatment plans. Complementary and alternative medicine use AI to predict certain patterns and reliable computerized models. In traditional Chinese medicine, AI is developed to predict and treat the disease. In conclusion, the possible roles of AI in traditional medical practice are analyzing medical records, designing treatment, and medication management even before the disease comes.
