Abstract

Pedagogy skill in the medical study is very critical. Teaching is a complex situation. It is determined by the content, the interaction, and the setting. Those factors are very critical for the quality and character-building of medical students. Therefore, this paper aims to describe the most essential pedagogy concern in the medical study. It is a narrative literature review. The source was taken from PubMed, Science Direct, and Google Scholar. It is important to master creative pedagogy skills in the medical study. There are some strategies in pedagogical such as lecturing, questions, prompting, piloting, intervening, and demonstrating. The focus of pedagogical strategy can be teachers’ behavior and knowledge and/or the students’ understanding and behavior. Both teachers and students should learn to be more creative in the learning process. Conclusion: the essential pedagogical concerns in the medical study are how to prepare and make teachers and students ready to improve their behavior, knowledge, and understanding. A better strategy will yield better graduation results.
