Abstract

Quality Control is used to prevent product failures (defects), repeat the production process, decrease selling prices to prevent product failures (reject). Failure Mode And Effect Analysis (FMEA) is one method that can be used in quality control analysis by identifying potential failures that will arise and minimizing the risk of defects. The results of the analysis and data processing in this study used the FMEA method. Based on the results of the analysis, the researchers found three defects, namely Flashing, Short Shot, and IML that did not meet the standards. Then for data processing using the FMEA method, the highest RPN or Risk Point Number was found in the Human factor and the cause of disability, namely the machine settings were not in accordance with the RPN 20 value.
