Abstract

CV. Sumber Sari Persada is a company engaged in the food industry with bottled sauce products. The process that is carried out still uses hot steam by burning using firewood manually in the process of making sauce. The purpose of this research is to reduce the waste that occurs in the CV production line. Sumber Sari Persada In the lean manufacturing approach, Value Stream Mapping (VSM) is used as a lean manufacturing method to analyze waste in the manufacturing process. Based on the results of the analysis, recommendations for repairs were made, replacing old machines, and placing distant places closer, bringing the washing area closer to the stripping area. It is better to use raw materials quickly without storing raw materials for too long. The location for placing finished goods is close to the warehouse. The results of the analysis of the depiction of the future value stream mapping from these results obtained the value adding time of the sauce production process. bottle minute 132.5 minutes. Meanwhile, non-value adding time is around 23.5 minutes.
