Abstract

The company's production capacity that has not been able to meet market demand has forced the government to import salt to meet market demand. PT Garam unit Camplong is a salt producer that has a development design with a production capacity of 10 tph. However, those in the field only have a capacity of 4.7 tph. Because the other lines don't work. The purpose of this study is to analyze the factors that affect the engine design can not reach a capacity of 10 tph. This research method uses a fishbone diagram approach. The stages of this research, namely the problem identification stage, the identification stage of the cause of the problem and the categorization of the causes of the problem. From the root cause of not achieving a production capacity of 10 tph, there are 3 causes, namely the packaged coarse salt line, refined packaging and jumbo bags that do not work, from these 3 causes a deeper identification is also carried out to look for other causes and categories of causes..
